Our Customer Service Team has years of experience and we only use the highest quality Instructors and Supercars in the Industry. Our Venues have been handpicked for their Circuit layouts and geographical locations ensuring you will have a Thrilling Drive with us.
Below we have outlined all of the important information we feel you need to know about your driving experience, we strongly advise our Customers to have a read through our Terms and Conditions.
The following Terms & Conditions (together with such other terms, conditions and notices) as maybe set out in the Supercar Drive days Website apply to all sales by Supercar Drive Days.
It is the intention of Supercar drive days mids that all terms between it and the Buyer are contained in the Conditions.
No alteration to the Terms & Conditions will be binding unless accepted by Supercar Drive Days mids Ltd in writing.
The Conditions are subject to amendment by Supercar Drive Days provided it is reasonable for it to do so by the posting on Supercar Drive Days Website prior to the sale.
Nothing in the Conditions shall affect the statutory rights of a consumer.
"Beneficiary" means the person for whom the Experience or Open Voucher has been purchased by the Buyer.
"Buyer" means the person purchasing the Voucher from Supercar Drive Days
"Cancellation Scheme Cover" means the scheme operated by Supercar Drive Days whereby the experience date may be changed once, without further charge, in the event of death or illness of the Participant or immediate family member; or disruption of the Participant's travel on the Experience Date.
"Event of Force Majeure" means an act of God including but not limited to rain, snow, fire, flood, earthquake, windstorm or other natural disaster; act of any sovereign including but not limited to war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, nationalisation, requisition, destruction or damage to property by or under the order of any government or public or local authority or imposition of government sanction embargo or similar action; law, judgment, order, decree, embargo, blockade, labour dispute including but not limited to strike, lockout or boycott; interruption or failure of utility service including but not limited to electric power, gas, water or telephone service; failure of the transportation of any personnel equipment, machinery supply or material required by Supercar Drive Days for its performance of the contract; breach of contract by any essential personnel; any other matter or cause beyond the control of Supercar Drive Days.
"Supercar Drive Days" means SCDD Ltd Limited (Company Registration Number:09582903 - whose registered office is at: Cathedral House 5, Beacon Street, Lichfield, Staffordshire, WS13 7AA.
"Supercar Drive Days Website" means: www.supercardrivedays.co.uk
"Experience" means the driving experience supplied by Supercar Drive Days to the Buyer for the benefit of the Participant.
"Experience Date" means a date nominated by the Participant for the fulfilment of the Voucher within the term of the Voucher.
"Experience Voucher" means a voucher for a designated Experience.
"Extras" means Extra Drives, Laps, Passenger Rides, In-car Filming, Photographs and Damage Collision Waiver Insurance Cover.
"Open Voucher" means a voucher for an Experience to be nominated by the Participant.
"Participant" means either the Buyer or Beneficiary.
"Purchase Price" means the price for the Voucher together with any Extras, Cancellation Scheme Cover fee or Collision Damage Insurance Waiver fee. (Cancellation Scheme Cover or Collision Damage Insurance Waiver is not subject to Vat)
"VAT" means Value Added Tax applicable at the prevailing rate "Experience Voucher" means a voucher for a designated Experience.
"Extras" means Extra Drives, Laps, Passenger Rides, In-car Filming, Photographs - Vat is includes
“VAT” is not applied to Collision Damage Waiver Insurance or the Cancellation Cover Waiver scheme.
"Collision Damage Waiver Insurance" means the scheme operated by Supercar Drive Days whereby the Participant may reduce his liability to meet the excess for any damage caused to Supercar Drive Days vehicles.
"Voucher" means either an Experience Voucher or an Open Voucher
"Voucher Packs" means a pack Experience Voucher or Open Voucher and (if applicable) including an In-car Filming or Photographs and/or other literature.
All details supplied by clients or recipients of gifts remain confidential to the company. Under no circumstances will any information be supplied to third parties without our clients and or recipients specific authorities in writing, except where there is an emergency involving the statutory authorities.
All vouchers are normally sent by automatic e-mail up-on purchasing. Vouchers are not posted to our Customers unless agreed by one of the sales Team via phone.
Experience Vouchers have an expiry date of 12 months from the date of purchase in which time the Participant must undertake the Experience.
Experience Vouchers may be extended for a further 6 months at a cost of £25 administration fee (plus the cost of any price increase of the Experience) provided always that they are extended within 12 months from the date of purchase.
The Experience must be undertaken by the Participant within the term of the Experience Voucher (whether extended or not).
Please note, premium circuits attract a supplementary charge and there is a £25 charge for vouchers used on a weekend.
The Buyer can cancel the contract with Supercar Drive Days within 48 Hours of the of purchase providing the Experience date has not been booked.
To cancel the contract the Buyer will need to send a letter to Supercar Drive Days, which can be sent by post, email or facsimile. If the contract is cancelled orally, the buyer will need to confirm the oral cancellation in writing and send it to Supercar Drive Days by one of the specified means. 1, Potter Street, Melbourne, Derbyshire, DE73 8HW
The above only applies to the purchase being made through Supercar Drive Days . All other vouchers purchased through Buyagift Ltd, Virgin Ltd and other sellers the purchaser will have to contact them directly.
Any refund will only be repaid to the Buyer via the original means of payment.
Supercar Drive Days complies with each of the eight principles of the Data Protection Act 1998.
Those principles require that data is:-
The majority of Supercar Drive Days events are operated from February to November. You must attend your driving experience in these months but the office is open all year for bookings. You must take part in your driving experience within these months and it must be booked and taken before the expiry date of your voucher.
We plan arrangements for your experience many months in advance. Very occasionally changes can be made and we reserve the right to do so.
This may involve having to reschedule the date, timing and /or location of an experience, possibly at short notice, owing to availability, booking numbers (minimum and maximum), safety, technical problems or other factors beyond our control. We cannot be held liable for any costs incurred in any of these circumstances.
We will try to provide an experience, location or other alternatives wherever possible. In the unlikely event that an alternative cannot or is not offered, a full refund will be available at the discretion of Supercar Drive Days. Similarly, we reserve the right to withdraw supply of a gift without notice due to unavailability or discontinuance of a product line.
You will need to be sure to give yourself plenty of lead time for your booking, which can be as much as 8-12 weeks prior to the date of your event (as some locations do fill quicker than others)
All dates are subject to availability and we strongly advise you to contact us via phone or e-mail regarding available dates before purchasing your Vouchers from us.
Once you have booked your date we reserve your place, if you then choose to cancel, you will be in breach of contract, Supercar Drive Days reserve the right to retain all monies paid. (Please see below Cancellation Scheme cover).
IMPORTANT The driver on the day must bring their driving license, gift voucher and their confirmation, without these you may not be able to take part.
Directions to the event are sent out as assistance only and customers are asked to plan their journeys carefully. Supercar Drive Days is not responsible for customers getting to the venue. Supercar Drive Days does not accept re-bookings if your event has been booked (unless covered under separate Cancellation Scheme cover)
Once the Participant has selected the Experience Date the Participant may change the date subject to paying Supercar Drive Days Ltd, a £30 administration fee where nomination to change the name or date is made more than 30 days preceding the Experience Date.
The above shall not operate where the Buyer has taken up Booking amendment insurance and supplied such documentary evidence as required by the terms of the scheme. Cancellation Cover Cost £10.00.
Non-UK drivers must provide a proof of UK address, either in the form of a utility bill, council tax bill, gas & electricity bill or water bill. If they cannot provide this they must pay the EDI.
Junior drivers must bring proof of age in order to drive with us.
BOOKING AMENDMENT INSURANCE
Cancellation cover must be paid for separately within 7 days of purchase of your driving voucher. This can be requested from our Customer Advisors on 01332411223. This cover will allow you to change any aspect of your booking including name, venue or date change once for free, up to and including cancellation/changes on the day for any reason whatsoever. The cancellation request will only be honoured within the voucher’s validity period. The cancellation scheme cover only covers the participant taking part in the event and not the gift voucher itself. This is only available on experiences up to the value of £299.00; please call if over this value for a bespoke cost.
Participants are required to hold a Full Valid Driving Licence this includes all countries worldwide. All Participants will be required to show their licence on the day of the event.
Participants shorter than 1.5 metres (approx. 5') or taller than 1.9 metres (approx. 6' 6") and/or weighing more than 120 kg (approx. 19 stone) may have difficulty being accommodated. It is for the buyer to be satisfied both at the time of purchase and on the Experience Date that the Participant can undertake the Experience. No refund will be given.
Given the nature of the Experience will involve some personal risk; the Participant will be required to sign a disclaimer before undertaking the Experience.
In the interests of safety, Supercar Drive Days reserves the right to refuse the Participant from either commencing the experience or stopping the experience part way through if any of its instructors consider that the Participant is intoxicated through drink or drugs, lacks adequate ability or understanding of the English language.
With the exception of Guide Dogs, no other pets or animals are allowed at any of our venues.
The Buyer/participant is liable for the first £2,500 plus VAT of any damage beyond normal wear and tear to each and every vehicle or other item of equipment supplied for the Experience by Supercar Drive Days, arising out of any act or omission of the Participant.
The Buyer/participant shall not be liable under the terms where the Participant has opted to take out Collision Damage Waiver.
Notwithstanding having opted to take out Collision Damage Waiver, where the cause of the damage arises as a result of the Buyer/Participant's Deliberate or Reckless action the Buyer/participant shall remain liable under the terms.
The Buyer/participant shall be additionally liable for any damage to the track not owned by Supercar Drive Days, as a result of the Buyer/Participant's Deliberate, Negligent or Reckless actions whilst participating in an Event.
Supercar Drive Days requires all customers to complete an indemnity waiver form on the day of their event prior to commencing their activity. This is completed by signing the relevant indemnity form. With few exceptions, all our experiences involve some element of risk and danger. This is what creates the excitement and the thrill. Every customer is covered by our standard public liability insurance. You may wish to take out additional cover over and above that provided. Accordingly you are advised to consider insurance cover for personal accident, loss of limb and even death or indemnity insurance for damage caused to any vehicles on your event before embarking on your experience. Supercar Drive Days is not responsible for any risks not specifically covered by its own insurance and on arrival at your venue you will be asked to sign a driver's indemnity.
Supercar Drive Days offers an Excess damage Insurance which is available by paying a fee of £25-£30. Supercar Drive Days ask you to agree that should there be any damage whatsoever to any of the vehicles you drive, by purchasing the damage Insurance cover, you will not have to pay the first £2500 +VAT of damage as stated on the signing in sheet for your experience. The damage Insurance Cover is void if found to be driving negligently/dangerously or not listening to the instructors instructions. (Excess Damage Insurance is not subject to Vat).
Supercar Drive Days, reserves the right to make changes to the Experience content without notification.
Session lengths are given as an indication only and Supercar Drive Days , will not be responsible for any increase or decrease in session length as the Participant may be sharing the circuit and/or vehicle with other Clients. Supercar Drive Days, cannot be held liable for any costs incurred in these circumstances.
Unless stated otherwise you will usually be taking turns with other people and there will be waiting time involved. We do our best to try and keep these to a minimum by having staggered arrival times for our Customers, however some days, times, venues and cars are busier than others and all times given are just an indication.
In the unlikely event that an Experience cannot be completed, compensation will be at the discretion of Supercar Drive Days.
The images of vehicles and specifications contained in this brochure are for illustrative purposes only. Supercar Drive Days Ltd, may supply variants of the models illustrated in this brochure on the Experience Date to fulfil the Experience.
All information, prices and claims are correct at the time of publication (January 2017).
Supercar Drive Days, reserves the right to amend the information or prices relating to the products in this brochure without notice. All prices include VAT at 20%.
Supercar Drive Days, shall be entitled by notice to the Participant to suspend the Experience and the (performance of the agreement) if an Event of Force Majeure shall prevent Supercar Drive Days from offering the Experience.
The maximum liability of Supercar Drive Days, where:
Supercar Drive Days, has had to suspend the Experience as a result of an Event of Force Majeure shall be limited to re-booking the Experience for an alternative date;
The Participant has been suspended from participating in the Experience for reasons mentioned previously, shall be limited to the value of the Voucher less the element completed (if commenced) or less a charge of 50% where the Participant has not commenced the Experience.
Supercar Drive Days, shall be under no liability for any injury, damage or loss sustained by any person while at an Supercar Drive Days, venue (including any venue used by Supercar Drive Days Ltd, for the delivery of the Experiences) except for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Supercar Drive Days, or its employees and agents in the ordinary course of their duties to Supercar Drive Days.
For the purposes of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 and notwithstanding any other provision the Conditions are not intended to, and do not, give any person who is not a party to them any right to enforce any of the provisions.
If any Condition or any part of any Condition shall be held to be unenforceable or invalid such enforceability or invalidity shall not affect the enforceability and validity of the remaining conditions or the remainder of the relevant condition.
The headings and numbering used in the Conditions are for convenience only and shall not affect their interpretation.
Reference to the singular shall be deemed to be a reference to the plural and vice versa as appropriate.
Any concession or latitude allowed by Supercar Drive Days, shall not affect Supercar Drive Days rights under or release the Seller to the Buyer from liability in respect of the Conditions.
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Please try to arrive approximately 45 minutes before your allocated start time for your registration and Health and Safety Briefing. Upon arrival please head straight to the sign-in centre. Please allow 1 hour and 30 minutes for your first car and up to 45 minutes for each car you have booked to drive after that. All times are only an indication and please be prepared to wait for the most popular cars. Please make sure you have your Drivers Licence with you, Gift Voucher and e-mail confirmation (the latter two are not compulsory but recommended).
Please wear comfortable clothing with thin-soled shoes for driving. All safety equipment is provided. We advise you to come prepared for all weathers.
Catering facilities are available on site; the type can vary depending on venues. We aim to sell quality food. Please note; catering facilities only accept cash so bring both with for food and refreshments.
Spectators are welcome to attend all events that Supercar Drive Days directly supply. Other circuits may be subject to conditions, please ask our customer services advisors upon booking. Due to insurance restrictions, children under the age of 12 are permitted but must be supervised at all times whilst on the site by an accompanying adult. Dogs (except guide dogs) are not permitted, please note it may be possible for spectators to participate in other activities subject to availability on the day for payment of the appropriate fee. At some events pay as you go Supercars, in car filming and photographs are also offered and are subject to availability.
Seating is limited and so we recommend to bring a rug or deck chairs.
Pets are not permitted. Guide Dogs Only.
From time to time some of our experiences may have to be cancelled or suspended due to adverse weather conditions, reasons beyond our control or very occasionally mechanical breakdown. Where this is a possibility, for example in the case of certain driving experiences every effort will be made to contact you and /or offer an alternative on the day or re-book the experience at the next available date or venue. Supercar Drive Days will not be responsible for any accommodation, travel or incidental expenses incurred by customers and every effort will be made on the day for your event to continue. Once you have booked your experience you are bound by the relevant supplier’s terms and conditions and these will be implemented and adhered to at all time. From time to time there may be situations that are out of our control, we cannot pay compensation, damages, expenses, costs, losses or any other amount of any description or otherwise accept responsibility for you not being able to attend. This information can be found in the confirmation we send you before the event.
The Experiences involve some personal risk. Some insurance policies specifically exclude certain Experiences. Supercar Drive Days. If you would like further information, please call our Customer Services Department on 01332 411223. Public Liability Insurance is mandatory at all of our events.
Although our aim is always to offer the highest level of service possible, occasionally there may be something that you feel we have overlooked. The easiest way of resolving complaints is to address them on the day. The Management will endeavour to put things right immediately. If your complaint cannot be resolved locally, please inform us in writing by post to our Customer Services Department or by email firstname.lastname@example.org.
